Cathay Pacific resumes flights to Sri Lanka

Cathay Pacific Airlines, which had temporarily suspended its flight operations since March 2020 during the Covid epidemic period, reactivated its flight operations from first February and its first flight arrived at the Katunayake Airport.
Accordingly, direct flight services from Hong Kong to Katunayake on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays of the week will be operated from now on by Cathay Pacific Airlines
The maiden flight of Cathay Pacific Airlines CX-611 arrived at Katunayake Airport on February 1 , at 11.35 midnight carrying 253 passengers. Cathay Pacific Airlines used an Airbus 330-300 type aircraft for this maiden flight.Cathay Pacific Airlines operates flights from Hong Kong to destinations in 80 countries around the world.
