Australia’s death toll stands at 13 with over 3000 Australians testing positive to the coronavirus
As at 8pm, Thursday 26 March 2020, an additional 186 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed, since 8pm 25 March, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in NSW to 1,405.
There are now 162 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NSW among passengers on the Ruby Princess. This does not include cases in other states, last reported as 26 cases
Two members of restaurant staff at Sokyo, a Japanese restaurant located at The Star casino in Sydney, have tested positive to COVID-19.
The Star's chief operating officer, Damian Quayle, confirmed the news in an email to all casino employees on Thursday night.
Seven cases have been confirmed from a wedding in Bali on 21 March, two are NSW residents and five are interstate residents identified so far.

A one-year-old child confirmed yesterday to have COVID-19 attended a child care centre on the day before onset of symptoms. The centre will be closed while contact tracing is completed. The Public Health Unit is working to identify and notify contacts.
Two confirmed cases have been identified from a group of 100 Chilean navy personnel who have been in NSW since 1 March. They are self-isolating in hotels in Sydney. Investigations and contact tracing is underway.
The five passengers with symptoms on the Qantas charter flight from Honolulu that arrived in Sydney yesterday who were referred for COVID-19 testing were negative and have been returned to their hotel to continue their self-isolation.
The Department of Home Affairs is managing the daily needs of the passengers at the hotel and any bio-security measures are being managed by the Commonwealth.
NSW Health will assist should there be any further need for COVID-19 testing or medical care requiring transport to hospital.
There are 162 confirmed cases diagnosed in NSW who were on board the Ruby Princess. There are 41 confirmed cases from the Ovation of the Seas.

NSW Health is alerting passengers who were close contacts on flights to monitor for symptoms, and contact their GP, but call ahead first, or call healthdirect on 1800 022 222, or visit a NSW Health COVID-19 / Flu assessment clinic should they become unwell.
